Do Any Non Switch Lers Receive Aftercare?

I’m interested to know if any of the Lers that don’t switch here receive aftercare and would like to know what that looks like?

I see aftercare as an intentional act that someone does for the other, so perhaps my definition is off. Feel free to correct me there as well.

I've never heard it been used in that context, but that is a great euphemism. 😀

I think aftercare for both lees and lers is really important. Regardless of whether or not you're the one being tickled, sessions can still be physically or emotionally exhausting. I always enjoy a nice cuddle after a session just to come down from the endorphins 🙂

That's a really good question! There are some LERS that get so into the intensity of the tickling session that they encounter the same mood swings of their LEE....

All LEEs need some degree of calming and comforting after an intense session....To help them come down from the tickling highs of the adrenaline rush and to reinforce calmness and a feeling of safety as they enjoy the endorphin 'bath' that happens after an intense session...
Some quiet time is appropriate...(physically, so they know it's over and can refocus on coming back down from the super intense experience)....Giving water and maybe light snacks is also welcomed by many.

LERS are probably not in need of the same degree of aftercare, but some do need time afterwards to calm themselves after an intense session...
Like all of our discussions about the psychology of tickling...It's an individual characteristic and depends on how we are each 'wired'.....No right or wrong...Just depends on the person and the situation and how your mind and brain perceive and process the session you've just finished.

I never got that entire concept of "snuggling". Like maybe it's me, but I had a partner who preferred to like lay on top of someone for a "snuggle"... meanwhile I get "trapped dog" feelings like I was being smothered.

Lying next to a partner, however, is a whole different option.

I don't consider it aftercare per say, but I do hope a clear indication that the lee had a positive experience after we separate or the following day.

I personally love aftercare. Holding the person you have just tickled into a sweaty mess in your arms, cuddling, kissing, gently removing hair stuck on her sweaty face as you are comforting and making sure she is alright is amazing. Do that everytime with my Lee and for us it brings us closer and gives a deeper connection.

The idea of aftercare is completely new to me, both for lee and ler. I can't say I've ever thought of it. I did have a great experience at Donatella Den with a mistress who is no longer there. She suggested we lay together, basically side by side with with legs wrapped together, after I'd tickled her feet in the stocks. It never really got that intense, and I continued to tease her a little with gentle tickling while we lay together, but we mostly just relaxed and talked that way at the end and it was really nice. As far as I know she wasn't particularly into tickling, as a ler or lee, and I don't know if she suggested this as a kind of after care or what the reason was, but I thought it was a great idea.
