Do raspberries tickle more with a beard, stubble or clean-shaven?

What's the difference between receiving raspberries from a stubbley face, a bearded face and a hairless face? I know the sound must be better with a smooth face, but does having hair have any pluses?

I think that extra stubble creates more hysteria out of a lee. That prickly facial hair can be a real shocker.
