Do you ever actually say "Fetish"?

I've always called it " an interest" or said it turned me on or something.

I don't think vanilla people see the word "fetish" in the same way we do and I think it can be kind of shocking or disturbing for them to hear it. I feel a lot of people view a fetish as something akin to a mental disorder. lol

I don't pretend that it's not a fetish, but I don't use the word that often because I don't like it.

Well for me I call it a fetish, I have both a female foot fetish for pretty painted toenails, and I love to suck on, lick and massage female feet, but I have a more intense tickling fetish I would say. If a lady is extremely or vey ticklish I can tickle them for hours with breaks of course if they need it, but if a lady is only a little ticklish or moderately ticklish I lose interest like you do in tickling them very quickly.

No, I would rather say, "I have a strong interest in tickling and being tickled," or "I have a strong preference for tickling and being tickled." 😀

I would most certianly call it a fetish... I'm not sure what else it would be referred to as. Of course that's not what I've always known it as, it wasn't until I was older and the word fetish found it's way into my vocabulary that things started to make sense XD

I probably shouldn't use the word, but I do. It seems in most non-ticklephiles' minds that "fetish" inextricably links the word to sex. And while yes, it's my favorite foreplay, it doesn't mean that any woman I tickle I am having foreplay with. This never registered with my ex wife. It also means that people you tickle get uncomfortable because they think you're getting off, and not just having fun, or even just friendly bonding.

Never thought of it before, but yeah....maybe I should state it differently.

Yeah, using the word fetish confuses the shit out of most people. Its better to speak in a direct way they can understand instead of using a word they probably associate with someone who's mentally sick or sexually perverted.

Honestly, all I really say is it turns me on or I think its sexy/hot/kinky. I never use any vocabulary that's loaded with negative social connotations unless I'm being humorous about it.

hell...i've it a fetish..also a kink..a turn on..and a perversion.....it is what it is

I've said fetish each time I've told someone and it's never been an issue. They always ask questions and stay long enough for me to explain it in detail rather than just say "Ahh! Sexual deviancy!! Run!!"

I used to be a little uncomfortable with calling my fetish a "fetish", but the word is being used more around me on other topics, so. I say straight out that I have a tickling fetish; Nothing fancy.

I'd say I have a foot fetish, but a strong interest in tickling. If a woman had hideous feet, but liked to be tickled, I wouldn't be that excited. If she had gorgeous feet, but didn't like to be tickled ..., well, I'd try and persuade her, but even so, I'd still be sexually interested even if she didn't bite!

I guess you can say I have a foot fetish. For me, it's more about the toes than anything else. While I don't have any desire for tickling, I just like to look and admire how nice women's feet are... and I LOVE women that have French tips. It's beyond sexy!

Nope. I do, I do not say. If I do ever say I call it a kink. Because...it sounds kinky and kinky is fun. 😉

I generally don't use the word because of the conotations i think it has to 'vanilla' (or whatever) people. however, i've told my past 2 girlfriends about it without using that word. i probably just said i like it or i have a thing or something to that effect.

the first turned out to have plenty of 'things' herself....like spanking and hair-pulling. funny because when she told me about that stuff i never gave it a second thought, which is probably how most normal open-minded people view our fetish. then she made fun of my reluctance to say the word and would like shout it at me. ahh kinda miss her.

The second just said she didn't think it was weird at all, seemed totally confused why it's something i would even feel the need to keep a secret, and said "you're silly, that's like the most innocent fetish you could have".

So both jumped to the word without me actually saying it. And despite these positive responses I'm still very secretive about it. But I haven't had a girlfriend in quite some time. I think if I meet someone I'll just tell her early on...

For some reason, whether on here, or in conversations with real life friends, I always find myself using the word "Interest" to describe my tickling and foot fetishes. I've just always felt more comfortable using that word.

I think nothing wrong with the word "fetish". There are so many kinds of fetishes. It just sounds more.. plausible to describe to an outsider my enjoyment of female feet and tickling as an "interest".
