Most days I'm not, but some days I do get ashamed where it feels like maybe I shouldn't have my fetish because it's such a burden to my boyfriend, despite him insisting it to the contrary.

But regardless... there are times I do get a bit emo/self-loathing about my fetish, and it can be quite painful at times. But really... it's all the same, isn't it? Most guys like boobs and butts (and/or pecs and butts for the not-so-straight), I like guy's feet that are sensitive and can laugh.

And let me tell you... people have different flavors, and people have different tastes. You may not be the right flavor for one person, but you're the right flavor for another person. Whatever your build, complexion, or hair situation is, someone out there will love you for it.

Ashamed? Nope, but I try to bring it up under proper circumstances as opposed to forced ones.

See a couple of my friends do know about my tickling fetish and they take great pleasure in ripping me a new one for it. I laugh it off and take it in stride because I know that if they like to rip on me for my interests, how scared shitless are they of someone finding out what they are into? The world is cruel, but it has a pretty decent sense of justice I've found so it makes it all worth while in the end. Take things as they come, one day at a time, and go with it... Admittedly its a pain when you're as neurotic as I am, but hey, 'dems the breaks.

Ashamed? Not really. I've never really regretted the fact that I have this fetish. Whenever an ex will list it as one of the reasons that she ended things, it only proves to me that she wasn't the right one, because to me the right one WILL be compatible with it.

Ultimately, nobody you encounter will be comfortable with it until you are. It isn't anything mind-blowingly unusual (it's not even all that bad comparable to other fetishes I've heard of), it's just another wrinkle that makes up who you are. And once you're comfortable with who you are, that confidence shows itself and someone will see that. Once they see that, and a bond starts forming, suddenly maybe the fact that you're into feet/tickling won't be that big a deal. But it's damn near impossible for someone to like you until you like yourself.

No way. Do not feel ashamed. It is just something you enjoy. It is not immoral or illegal, it is added fun to a relationship. As far as telling your partner you might want to wait until you are intimate. Most cases it will be easy for a woman to understand. Don't overthink it or tell it to your partner like it is what you like. If they are the one for you they will understand. Everyone who I have been in a long enough relationship I told them. It was never a problem. I admit I was nervous when I told the first girl, but it gets easier. Don't be ashamed I embraced it as a blessing now.
