do you ever feel bad for liking a team?

Okay, let me explain. My favorite team is the 49ers, but my third favorite team is the Cowboys... because i have three favorite teams. My mom's favorite team is the Cowboys so I kinda grew up liking them too... I root for them, my mom roots for the 49ers. And well my opinion isn't going to change or anything, they will always be my third favorite team, but the 49ers and Cowboys are rivals. They're not major rivals anymore but during the 90s they were big time rivals... And well some people tell me that i can't like the 49ers and like the Cowboys. Especially one of my friends that's a 49er fan. He keeps insisting that I don't like the Cowboys, my mom does and i just watch it with her because i like football lol.. but it could always be worse, I could like the Raiders and the 49ers lol.. ick...

But anyways, is there any team that's not your favorite but you like that you might, not feel bad for liking them but guilty since their like a rival of your favorite team or whatever lol

I feel bad for bleeding blue and white every day lately, LOL My Leafs are horrible! 😱 But I'm not a bandwagoner, I stick with my team thru the good and the bad 🙁

Sports are suppose to be enjoyed. Theres nothing wrong with rooting for more than one team. If somebody gives you crap for liking a certain team mroe than likely its because the team they like sucks and gets whomped on every game. Take me for instance..Im an avid Vikings fan, always have been always will be, through the good and bad. However I also like watching other teams, The Titans are prob my second favorite team and I also enjoy watching the Chargers. Point being, enjoy it, have fun, root for who ever your heart desires as long as you are havin the best time possible. Thats all that matters, not waht somebody else says.

I became a Braves fan in 1983, and when they sucked from 1985 to 1990, everyone used to razz me about liking the Braves. I thought about changing teams for a while, and becoming a Mets or Yankees fan, because I lived in the NY area then, but I just couldnt do it. Then, the Braves gave me fourteen wonderful years with the division titles from 1991 to 2005, so I was happy to be a fan of theirs. Now, as most who follow baseball know, they've slipped a bit, but I still root for them.

I've thought about rooting for other teams through the years, but I just cant bring myself to.

I have more teams I dislike than like. Only one sport am I a fan of two teams, the rest I have one. Otherwise, I just love the Sport I am watching.

I don't know how you can root for the Cowboys if you're a 49ers fan, especially considering their history. Whenever the Cowboys or Packers lose (including Brett Favre), it makes me happy.

Nope! I have been a Mets and Jets fan since 1971. I have been a Knicks fan since 1977 and a New Jersey Devils fan since they came over from Colorado in 1982. These teams for the most part do not have winning traditions except for the Devils. But my thoughts on that is this: Anyone can root on a winner ( ask maniac he changes teams everyday ) but it takes heart, loyality, guts and lots of antiacid tablets ( 😛 ) to root on a team that is not always winning.

yeah no one knows that better than me, my favorite basketball team is the Golden State Warriors 😛

Of course I don't really watch Basketball unless they're doing okay usually... sometimes i'll watch them suck. Basketball just doesn't excite me too much unless they're doing good bc it's boring, but they're still my team

My favorite football team is the 49ers, and they've been sucking but I haven't given up hope!... same with the Athletics lol... Atleast the Sharks no how to make it to the playoffs lol... My fave hockey team but i don't really watch hockey either lol

Same here for the most part. I'm a from Pittsburgh so I'm definitely a Steelers gal and root for them always but when they don't make it to the playoffs, I'll route for any team that plays against the ones I hate.

And I'm a Bad News Bears, er Pirates fan too! Just wish they'd find their place in the league. I still go to games in the summer to support them!

Oh, the Bucs have a place... in the basement. Hopefully NH and co. can turn it around.
