do you try not to laugh?

when your being tickled do you try and hold it in? do you try to stop yourself?
 
I do, I think it's to prevent from screaming sometimes. Also to make my tickler try harder! 😉
 
Always. There's no real reason. It's just a natural coping mechanism, I guess.
 
I try and try to not laugh, but that just makes the tickler try even harder which in the end I always lose
 
I wouldn't say that I have tried not to laugh, but I have tried to control my laughter in certain situations. Like being in public or something like that. It's not always easy especially in more quiet places, but in noisier ones....I don't care who hears me laugh 🙂
 
i dont try not to laugh...i used to but i just lose it pretty much right away.Now its more bracing for the inevidable..lol
 
Ive always found I naturally only laugh if I have to, but another thing Ive noticed is that if I try not to laugh, It tickles more and im forced to laugh anyway, the same thing happens if I try to stay still.

I wonder if we laugh and struggle as a natural defence to lessen the sensation.
 
Haha, yes. I like to see how long I can hold out .. which isn't an extended period of time 😛.
 
i try to keep the volume down

there is no way i could not laugh, but i do try to laugh quietly. we need to keep the noise level down so as not to wake the house.

i always do, which like with everyone else, the ler tries harder and gets me in the end haha i can hold out for a while though depending on the spot
 
That depends. In public or when people tickle me who I don't want to be tickled by, then yes.
Sporadically during tickle sessions when I AM allowed to laugh as loud as I want to (no parents home,etc),I try not to laugh just for the fun of it, or to try to give the 'ler a challenge. 😉

But most of the times when I control my laughter it's for boring reasons, such as parents home. :S
 
I'm not really a lee, but occasionally my friends or girlfriend will tickle me. I usually don't laugh in an effort to make them try harder.
 
I've only been tickled to where I'll just smile; never to the point of laughter.
 
I panic when Im first being tickled and that prevents my laughter for oh about...lets say all of five seconds. Its an unintentional response, just my body/brain reacting.

Mmkay, so, if things would turn out that I ever get to tickle you, I will do a victory dance on the moment you start laughing 😀 :cool2:
 
it's natural for me to try to hold it in, but a good tickler will always force the laughter to come out. 😀 the more comfortable i am with the tickler the more relaxed i am to let go and enjoy the experience!
 
Two seperate times on a plane, my girlfriend tickled my underarms first and later my knees. It took a lot not to laugh out loud.
 
I try to keep quiet when I'm first tickled, but I'm never successful.
