Does Anyone Get.. Sexual Texts.

Let me be 100% clear.

I just came out of the shower.

I turn my phone off when I shower.

When I turned the phone back on.. the following text popped up.

"Get Rock Hard Results from XO"

I think we all know what said means.

I should also be clear that said text was not from anyone I know, .. or from a woman who I'm not discussing etc.

While I might have received such an e-mail at some point.

This text surprised me a bit, because I had never seen such a text before.

Have any others ever received such a random text?

Don't have a cell phone, so no, don't get such messages. But, when going to clear my junk e-mails... quite a few. You know they are all scams, schemes to get you to bite so they can.....

It's an advertisement via text.
Do you get other advertisements via text?

rdhd, I only have a cell phone.

Have not had a landline since I lived in PA, almost seven years ago.

Most cellphones have a way to block all calls and texts from any particular number. You should use it to block unwanted advertisements.

Don't have a cell phone...

There was a time I make it a rule to never sleep with my cellphone in the room, but lately, it is the most efficient alarm clock... TBH, cellphones are curse to humankind that I just don't know how you could do without. Wish I could do it just like you -- to throw away my cellphone and live very peacefully, lol. No one would call my landline anymore.

I turn my phone off at night.

Sometime ago.

Someone sent me a spam text, at.. 3 am.

It woke me from a dead sleep, and scared the hell out of me.

Since then, I turn my phone off from the time I go to sleep until the time I wake up.
