Does Anyone Here Go To Hookah Cafes?

I usually go about once a week during the weekend; there is a great place near where I live.

I'm a vanilla person so I usually get the vanilla hookah whenever I go; or sometimes rose. I also enjoy their herbal teas and playing chess/checkers with the other patrons; most of them Middle-Eastern.

If you haven't been to one you should go sometime... though the smell can get to you after a while.

you mean smoke a hookah? like in Alice in Wonderland? that type of long hookah? i never knew they had hookah cafes..super cool..

Yes, smoking hookahs. It's like a coffee lounge, except here they give you a hookah menu where you order what flavor you want to smoke. They actually have a lot where I live... around NYC and New Jersey.

They also have a kitchen, recreational games, and a bar; those most of the time the bar is non-alcohol usually because they are run by Muslims.

I've been to one, once. It was a tiny little place with beads and goatees and almost tinsel-like decorations. It looked pretty hippie to me, it had a nice atmosphere. They were showing a martial arts movie, but the projector was backwards and, consequently, so were all the subtitles. It amused me that NOBODY noticed this. XD

Izzy...if you come visit me in Pittsburgh, I will take you to a hookah cafe...

They remind me of Israel...where a hookah is called a "nargilah" and it is glorious...

I have my own hookah with lotsa flavors...haven't used it in a while...maybe over the weekend...hmm...

I love the two apples flavor...it's DELICIOUS!!!!

Its ok, but I'm not a big Hookah fan.

Never been to a cafe though, only did it with a couple friends in their backyard.

Coffee hookah is gross, but the cherry and raspberry were good

the only one i've ever been to was in india, and that was with a cousin of mine who goes there all the time....it smelled awful lol. it was all peer-pressurey and silly, and smoking just isn't my thing! XD

There's only one such place around here. I went there to see occasional musical events, usually DJ spins, one of whom was Rob Swift.
