The first time I took shrooms, I bought them on an incredible trip to Amsterdam I took when I was 19; I remember crying in my hotel room from the intense feelings of euphoria pulsing through my body. The fourth time, I had a bad trip and was mildly depressed for a few months... one of my favorites, but definitely worthy of respect.
I stopped recreationally taking cocaine after I started liking it too much. Used to work in the Financial District in Downtown Manhattan (Battery Park) and the coke there was the best I've ever had... developed a bit of a problem and put it down.
Ketamine is a hell of a lot fun, but like most of the hard drugs not really something you can take, even recreationally... shit'll kill you.
I love pills because they're odorless, colorless, and tasteless... no mess, no paraphernalia, and you always know exactly what you're ingesting. Like a "light" cigarette, I think they're amongst the "safest" drugs. I love alprazolam, hydrocodone, oxycodone, muscle relaxers, skeletal relaxers, mood elevators, and the like. Wonderful with a bit of booze.
I hate Ecstasy because of the "grab-bag" of drugs it entails... and usually it's mostly cheap amphetamines.
Smoked PCP a handful of times, had a lot of fun but stopped because the drug was a little too hardcore for me.
All LSD is fake, BTW: you need a centrifuge to make it and the market isn't strong enough to warrant a legitimate product... at least where I come from.
I smoke weed at least once a day, and love it. I've had salvia a few times but didn't like the high... a bit too intense and confusing.
I also love me some dope from time to time (insufflated, never intravenously) but it's way too addicting to do more than once a month or so.
I also drink like a fish and smoke about a pack a day... and I'm in pretty good health, believe it or not. I love how the average person's perception of a drug user is usually wide off the mark... we come in all shapes and size, professions and what-have-you; the secret is moderation and knowledge... it'll keep the experience fun, and not necessary.
