A typical strawman argument means that you create an artificial constuct "a strawman" in answer to a question, this construct has little or nothing to do with the actual question and you then proceed to argue against or "take apart" this strawman. It is a classic way to avoid answering the actual problem or question while seemingly looking as if you have done so. 😀😀
