I’ve been following this for a year now and I refuse to buy another clip from C4S. at one point I had 29 pages of content I’m down to 11 from this purging nonsense. It’s complete bullshit. I already had took issue with not being able to DL anytime you need to, I personally had a hard drive with them stored and it’s been corrupted and I’m not computer savvy enough to get them back, if it’s even possible. I also think you should receive an email stating your losing clips, or a store is closing and offer a chance to re download before they are gone forever. Not to be a cry baby about it but damn that’s a lot of money to just go up in smoke a lot of clips I had were expensive.
I think the big picture is now clear. Ngl I am steaming mad about this NCC policy. Even though C4S is supposed to be a net positive it is increasingly less so. In 2024 I decided to focus on buying only tickling clips produced before 2012, and just a few months later they decide to remove (later turned out it was just hidden from search) everything before 2010? I don’t believe in coincidences and I suspect many had the same ideas as I did and C4S reacted accordingly. And this is so blatantly unfair to producers and fans.
Like many said I had bookmarked for purchase several early clips from Charlee Chase Tickle Torture, RealTickling (replaced by Tickling Handjobs), MagicTouch, the old BrazilianTickling, Silvercherry, etc. Now they have dropped any pretense and revealed their true intentions: instead of just hiding they are outright erasing great tickling work and history to replace it with playful slop. What’s truly targeted are videos in which the tickling is more or less realistic, we are not stupid. If their intentions were pure they would have added some type of grandfather laws. Or they would at least allow you to keep what you had already bought. But they didn’t on purpose.
I have been closely reading the producers complaints, looking at the timing, playing around with search words and also looking within some surviving stores to figure what’s going on, there is no doubt in my mind at this point. Now the new generation has no reference points of comparison and will have no idea what true tickling and what real laughter look like. THIS is the net effect, even if I were to be wrong in my view above regarding intent. The tickling heritage is being destroyed without the community having any say.
Likewise, to those who are aware of the surveillance state, ID verification is simply a ploy to collect our data for nefarious purposes, as others have implicitly pointed to. We may have to go back to decentralization to protect the ticking legacy if the centralized powers that were supposed to do good are treating both producers and fans this way. Don’t be surprised if others like Patreon start doing the same. This ain’t right!
