does puberty effect ticklishness?

I suppose it depends on the person. I think I am less ticklish in adulthood than I was as a child. Hard to say though.

I don't know about increasing or decreasing my ticklishness, but my attitude towards it certainly changed when I hit adolescence. I hated it when I was a child.

I don't think puberty has anything to do with it. As you grow older, you might not be as ticklish as your sensations dull with age. I used to be ticklish on my feet and under my arms when I was a kid, but not anymore.

I read a theory somewhere that you become more ticklish when you hit puberty, so that tickling can be used as a sexual cue. Dunno if it's true...

People get aroused before reaching puberty though....so that can't have anything to do with it.

Plus, I know quite some people who get less ticklish during arousal, it's different for everybody.
