i have a question. if someone really hates being tickled, genuinely hates it, could they still be turned on? "s/he hates it but her/his body loves it"?

i've read fiction like this, and i've heard about people that are open to it finding out they really enjoy it. but if someone is genuinely being tortured against their will, would they really get all hot and bothered by something they genuinely hate?

I guess if they are masochists, they would. Masochists get turned on from feeling uncomfortable.

It is certainly possible for a man to get an erection from something he genuinely hates being done to him. The physical part of it may cause that reaction.

PS: No, on this one I'm not going into detail.

It is veryc ommon for rape victims to become aroused while they are being violated, as a natural physical reaction to the sexual (albeit unwilling) stimulation they are receiving.

I can't see how this would NOT apply to tickling as well.

I think the answer, at least from a female perspective, would be no. It's a cool concept fiction/fantasy wise, but in reality? Unlikely.

I'll take tickling out of the equation for a sec and use an example of something else that's physical that I don't happen to like (because it's hard for me to talk about something unpleasant and keep tickling in the conversation). I'm not into pain at all. The whole spanking, slapping, biting, hair pulling, BDSM etc. stuff is totally lost on me, and if a guy I was with tried any of it with me, it would be a total turn off - *especially* if he knew ahead of time that I didn't like it. Then not only would the physical pain be a turn off, but the fact that he disregarded my feelings would be an even BIGGER turn off.

There is just no way to do something unpleasant and get a pleasant result.... at least not for this 'lee.

Totally different situation, because during rape, something is done to the victim that in another situation would be enjoyed! (Although I don't think it is COMMON to become aroused during rape...it happens, but not very often!) So let's just say the victim likes the rough side of sex, then the body is used to enjoying it and reacts accordingly, or let's say the rapist gets his thrill out of being gentle with the victim, same thing.

But when someone HATES being tickled, it can't suddenly out of the blue be something that the body enjoys. The feeling doesn't change and will always be hated. It could just be that the person doesn't like being tickled by that very person...so the lee doesn't want it to happen, but likes the feeling itself, so the body will react to that no matter who does the tickling.

Well there's more to being tickled than just being tickled. If a person has a thing for being dominated, being made to suffer, or just being touched all over then they'd get aroused by being tickled even if they hated the tickling part.

But then they wouldn't get turned on by the tickling, they would get turned on by the aspects that they actually enjoy....and the tickling could immediately kill that arousal for them again.

Well his question was just "could you get turned on while being tickled." He didn't specify that the tickling specifically was what was turning you on.

I don't think one negative aspect can "kill" the arousal of an otherwise arousing situation. Masochistic or not, most subs get turned on from things like being burned, electrocuted, or humiliated. They dislike the stimulus, but the fact that they hate it but it's being forced on them anyway is how they get they get off.

That's what I said at the beginning of the thread....if they are masochists, then they will be turned on by feeling an uncomfortable sensation. But if they are not masochists and turned on by being dominated or being tied and totally hate being tickled, it could ruin the arousal for them. And you can turn it around how you want, someone who gets off from feeling uncomfortable IS a masochist, not simply a sub! 🙂

For most people, arousal is very fragile, and even a wrong word could make it break down. I know for sure if I was tied - which arouses me - and then someone gets out the wax candle, I would not be turned on very much longer! If someone truly hates being tickled, there is no way in hell the other aspects of it will turn them on enough to keep the arousal going.

As someone who loves being tickled, rhiannon, you really can't argue this point as though it's fact. Your opinion is valid and perfectly fine, but unless we hear from a panel of people who actually do hate to be tickled (and they'd never really be honest anyway), we're just going to go in circles with this thread.

Sure I can argue this point as though it's fact. I just have to replace tickling with something that I hate to be done to me, like hot wax dripped all over my body or someone peeing on me. The presumption for this thread is that someone HATES being tickled (and believe me, there are people who do hate it), so everybody who hates something done to them should be able to put themselves into the position.

I am a bit masochistic, and I love getting tickled and also some light pain, but I don't think it's arousing when you really hate it. I mean also as a masochist you love what your dom makes with you, but if you hate it, then it is like rape in some way an that's not funny anymore. That's sick.

Being tickled and being peed on are two very different things. Urine is a waste product that your body produces. Tickling is a physical touch between two people. As people who mostly enjoy or love being tickled, we can't really answer this question from the correct point of view, and saying "all I have to do is replace the topic with something else" completely undermines the argument and invalidates your entire point. We're talking about tickling, not pee or candles.

I am sure that some people who hate being tickled, if forced to be tickled for an excessive period of time, might become unwillingly sexually aroused by it, depending on that person's psyche. However, for fuck's sake, DON'T TRY TO FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF.

Viper, nobody but a masochist could possibly be turned on by something they hate! Period! And no, wax or pee is nothing different, because we are just talking about something people hate! 🙂

If you absolutely must have physical touch, replace it with pinching. I hate that to, and there is no way I could get sexually aroused by it against my will.

I am not saying that ALL people can get turned on by something they hate. It happens -occasionally- and only with a small percentage of people. But it does happen. And that doesn't make them masochists.

Just because that's the way you feel about something doesn't mean everyone else does.

The answer to the OPs question is yes, but very, very rarely, and it should never be intentionally attempted.

What else would someone be if the person gets turned on by something they hate if not a masochist?

Just because you get turned on by something doesn't necessarrily mean you enjoy it. It is possible to have a natural, albeit unwanted, physical reaction to a negative stimulus.

BS, if I get turned on then I like it, whether it is tickling or pain. I think it's not pssible to get turned on when you hate it. Getting turned on is not only physiologically. There is something more.

OK, now we are quibbling over semantics, over the definition of "turned on". So let me say what I believe is true and say it clearly:

It is possible for a man to have an erect penis when something is being done to him that he doesn't like at all, even hates, if that something includes physical stimulation to the body which will produce an erection.

If you think so. At least for me it wouldn't work nd I think for many others also not. But anyway, even if it works, it's sick and it's a kinda rape.

I know so, for sure, because it has happened to me. PM me if you want details and will keep them to yourself.

I agree that it is sick and I felt violated.

Yeah, it is really sick and if someone would do that to me I would cut off his balls and shove them in his mouth

I know that is how you rape a man, but it does work different! What is done to him is physically stimulating, the thing itself does turn it on - he might hate who does it or the moment it is done to him, but he doesn't hate the thing itself!

But there is no way a man could get an erect penis from pain if he has never ever enjoyed it! I am pretty sure though a straight guy will get hard if he is sucked by a man, no matter how much he might dislike what is happening - the feeling is still sexually stimulating. THERE is the difference.

But there is no way a man could get an erect penis from pain if he has never ever enjoyed it!

I am sorry but you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about here. It is entirely possible and can/does happen, no matter how much pain may be involved or how much the guy hates the action taking place.

But we're deviating from the OPs question (again) lol.
