Dominant ticklish side of the body?

Do you think we have one side (half) of the body that is more ticklish than the other? For example, is the left foot is more ticklish than the right? Or the right side of the tummy/ ribs are more ticklish than the left?

I've recently returned to the forum after a long break from it. It's been so long since I was actually tickled properly I'm struggling to remember. I think I had one foot that was more ticklish than the other but can't remember which way round. And I can't remember if there was a theory about it having anything to do with your dominant writing hand.
So would welcome your thoughts/ experiences as I daydream more ways to torment myself 🤣

imho i dont think there normally is or if there is only minor as i have done a lot of very in depth ticklings and I am sure I would of noticed

The only time I've met someone for a tickle session, I was instinctively trying to protect one side of my torso more than the other - and I guess unsurprisingly it turned out that side was the most ticklish! But both feet were about equal

I definitely have one spot on the right side that is my killer spot, nowhere else on my body reacts like that. So, yes, I think you can have locally sensitized areas on one side versus the other.

I have a definite difference between my right side (much more sensitive to touch in some places) right foot > Left. .... right small of back (area over the kidney) is incredibly more sensitive / ticklish that the left (nothing) same with right hip bone area R > L.......but ribs dont seem to have that same pattern (equal side to side)

I believe your statements are very accurate ! Although, see my response as I have some definite differences between very specific areas. But also in my case I was not being tickled in an extremely thorough manner ! I think in the clutches of a very skilled LER, the differences would be much less or none because of the 'quality' of your dexterity and intensity of tickling would cause a much more intense sensation that the Lee is accustomed to feeling! I fully believe that would be so in my case 🤪 . I also believe that a profound tickling would drive the ticklishness up so high that the Lee wouldn't be able to process the two sides separately. The psychology that helps drive our sensitivity would come into play and the larger effect from my right side would make the less sensitive side 'follow' along. The psychological effects are what make people sometimes ultra sensitive when positioned face down for tickling, and why some ppl are are more sensitive wearing a blindfold .
