This is very sad. I was never a disco fan, but liked some of her songs. And like many guys my age, I had a huge crush on her. R.I.P. Ms. Summer. 🙁

Indeed. Her cover of MacArthur Park, 1978.

Another Sad Day.

The "Queen of Disco" has passed on, and I enjoyed her music.:dropatear

Total bummer....I remember listening to her when I was a kid in the early 80s, my dad had alot of her stuff on vinyl....

Ms Summer passed far too soon. She was a great talent. May she Rest In Peace.

"This Time I Know It's For Real"

I don't even know which radio stations play Donna Summer music these days, but I hope tributes include "This Time I Know It's For Real" from the late 1980s along with her 1970s heyday of hits. I heard what I guess was Summer's last album, Crayons, from 2008, borrowing a library copy. It did not stick with me, but then, sometimes you have to hear music a certain number of times to appreciate it.
