General,anyone can do whatever they want to do,and i am required to support that with my hard earned dollars?I think not!The sence of entitlement we have in this counrty has gone on much to long and it has to stop somewhere.

Anyone can do pretty much whatever they want to as long as they dont harm others,but if i am expected to pay for their irresponsible behavior i object to that.To many people in this country are so concerned about their *right* to do whatever they want to do,without any though about how it may affect others.

With rights come responsibillity.We all make choices in life,and if someone choses to engage in self destructive behaviour go for it,but dont ask me to pay your way.

Ok. jumping in this a little late but jumping in I am. Bug, heaven knows you understand my situation. I work and barely make ends meet. No matter what I do... I cant seem to get help from the state for my sons. The only help I do get is state insurance coverage for them. Yes, its free BUT, its only used for what the insurance coverage that I do pay for at work does not cover. I figure that since I do pay taxes towards it, I deserve at least that kind of help. It seems I am right above the poverty level. Not enough to get me through but too much to get help. No doubt there are hundreds of others that match the people that don't work and gets tons of benefits. Granted, I would probably be better off financially if I quit work, but morally I would never be able to do that. It is very frustrating though knowing that there are people that know how to play the system and get away with it. No doubt every state has issues with their welfare programs. Its a government monopoly, of course there are going to be issues. Thats the case with any government program. Nature of the beast. Just my two cents.
