Double notifications

It happens very regularly that, if someone replies to a thread where I contributed, that I just don't get one notifications on my email, but several, and they are all the same and they have all been sent at the same time.
It often happens that I get double (or even triple) notifications, but last week it became really crazy when I got 5 (FIVE) times the same mail. I think there might be a bug in your systemthat causes multiple messages to be sent.
Can you fix that?
Are there others with the same experience?

It's a bug in the system, because I usually get two to four notifications when only one should have been sent. I used to think it was just me, lol.

I've avoided this problem alltogether by changing my settings so I don't have e-mail notification at all for posts or PMs (though I do have popups set for PMs). This would be a problem if I wasn't checking in every day constantly, though.

If you think you wouldn't miss a beat by disabling e-mail notification, I'd suggest giving it a try.
