How come, the site is so slow lately? When downloading clips that are not stored on other servers, the speed is sooo low, even down to a few kb/sec.
 
Every 4-5 days we get slowed down by the size of our system logs, and I have to clear them out and reboot. I did that yesterday and it should be fine right now, for example.

If you're still experiencing slowness today, though, as far as I know it's not the TMF.
 
It does seem slow,no matter what forum i'm in.Seems to take forever to open a new page or post a reply.I run my spyware on a regular basis and do everything else i'm supposed to as far as computer maintenence.I never really had a problem untill the last month or two.
 
As far as I can tell everything is fine on the forum. Is there anyone else who is having that problem, that you know of or maybe who happens to be reading this 🙂
 
I just exchanged a pm with someone who is having the same problem Jeff,and it seems to be intermintent. Everything is fine,then it slows to a crawl.
 
ok, I just cleared our logs and rebooted the server. Does the forum still seem slow to anyone?
 
the forum is running faster, however it takes a while for a pm to be sent out..
 
today off and on, it's been running slowly...and sometimes the page will come up saying can't be displayed...
 
wow is it slow!!

The site has been running unbelivably slow the last 5 days or so.
 
It's slow right now, but it hasn't been until today. I'm about to do a memory clear, in 30 minutes it should speed up. Report if it does or does not please.
 
I would be very surprised if the forum is still running slow to anyone. It was slow to me 20 minutes ago, but it's fine now.
