"I'm coming over today to get clothes, and drop off dirty ones. I'm going to OKC for three to five days. You know what I want" Ross said, meaning that Kayley should not be there.

"I thought you were not going to be here. Yet, since you own this apartment jointly with me, you have a right to be here. Give me a minute and I will be gone" Ross said, calmly but coldly.
"You dont have to go anywhere. This is jointly your home just as much as it is mine. We cant talk about anything? You still really believe that I wanted to kick you in the balls?" Kayley said.
" I did not say that I believe you did it intentionally. I'm just angry, hurt and confused" Ross said.
"How about I straighten you out? Sell RossShell, I will leave my job, and let's go to a desert island and live like hermits. I dont care if I have a billion dollars or nothing, as long as I'm with you" Kayley said.

I will be waiting with open arms. It will be more than two weeks then. Let's hash this out, in therapy if needed, but let's be us" Kayley said.
"I hope you will understand if I do certain things in business" Ross said.
"Fine. Do whatever you want, as long as you come home to me. Settle the problem on the company you told me about. Battle George on MIA from now until Hell Freezes over. I dont care, and I know you want to. So long as you come home to me every night, I know now that I really dont have a right to tell you what to do with work. You dont tell me how to teach my classes" Kayley said.
Ross knew from that statement that Kayley really had been thinking. For years, probably decades, part of Ross and Kayley's marital problems had been because Kayley had been on Ross's ass trying to tell him how to run RossShell, and Ross resented it. Ross never told Kayley how to teach her classes.
The couple fell asleep in each other's arms
At 4 am, the alarm rang. Ross awakened, packed his bag, showered, kissed the half sleeping Kayley goodbye.
"Three days, maybe four, not too long. I just have to get there to keep all calm with Fritz and Steve" Ross said quietly.
"Go for as long as you need to. I will be here when you get back. You calmed things down with me. Now you need to go do the work you love" Kayley said.
Ross left and went to the Uber to JFK deep in thought.

It looked like, there would be a mending of fences.
Was that true, or would something else happen to cause the bridge to fall down?
