Drew was my manic-pixie-dream-girl in the '90s. My friend had her phone number back before cell phones. We left a message inviting her to a show we were playing in New Brunswick, NJ. Put her on the guest list. She didn't show.

She's the type of girl where there was definitely a non-zero chance of her just deciding to show up.
I remember this picture so vividly, when she jumped up on Letterman's desk and flashed him for his birthday. She totally embodied that manic-pixie energy.
