Earthquake hits the UK

Any one else in the UK feel the earthquake that happened this morning?

It wasnt anything major to worry about, but it was strong enough to wake me up.

Yup me and my house mates felt it, we were all still awake (being students) at first i thought I had drunk too much!

I think the only major thing that happened was structual damage to buildings, but as far as I know no one got any major injuries.

Ditto, the news said that large amounts of money are being paid out for insurance but nothing about people being hurt.

I think the east side of the country got it worse, I'm over to the west - not that is makes that much difference in a country this size 😛 - and it wasn't that bad. But a friend back home (further towards the east) had a power cut!

That's scary. How easy it is to forget that quakes are not just a (USA) west coast thing. I'm glad there were no serious injuries or deaths.

I was alone in my room when it happened. i went to talk to my housemates and they said they dindnt notice anything. i thought i was going insane.
