The Cyclones won the first half season (in the Northern division of the South Atlantic League), so they are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs regardless of how they do in the second half. That is a fine thing. 😀

The Dodgers won, too, and the putrid motherfucking hated jints bastards lost, so that made it a fine baseball day for me (even though the Cyclones lost).
 
Baseball is such a long season. Somehow we still have 2 FULL months of baseball left.

Yes, the regular baseball season is a marathon. You can, figuratively speaking, fall down, have the trainer tape you up, and get up and win the race.
But it is followed by several sprints: the LDS, the LCS, and the World Series.
An ideal team for the sprints won't last through the marathon, which makes it very interesting for general managers.
