watched wall-e again the other day, so i did a sketch of how the diagnostic scene might look if eve was a real girl, or a more anthropomorphic robot... probably the second one actually, otherwise the lit up stuff would have to look more like nerve clusters than printed circuit

also, as an aside - if you accidentally turn on the descriptive audio track on the DVD (instead of the director's commentary) when it gets to the part where eve is tickled in the diagnostic area the description says...

"...one of the probes tickles eve, while another tests the strength of the umbrella bot..."

quite matter-of-fact, as if that is what she has been sent there for

Love it! Those little bots were adorable already, but you have convincingly demonstrated there will still be a high demand for human-form robots as well.
