Ever been lazily running a finger over someone's sole or tummy, and they don't laugh but they do say "that tickles"? When someone says that, do they really think the person tickling them will go "oh I'm sorry, I didn't think that would tickle you" and stop? I mean, when someone says that something tickles, are they saying it so the person will stop, or are they maybe encouraging them to continue? What do you think their intention is when telling someone that something tickles? How do you take it when someone says that to you?
