Mystic is a private eye who has been hired by the family of Ms. Rose to find her. Rose has been missing for months and Mystic has finally found a lead on Rose's whereabouts. He has found the last location that showed up on Rose's cell phone's GPS. He sneaks into the dark basement and notices a strange piece of furniture. He then sees Rose in a deep sleep, gagged, and cuffed on a bed and he tries to wake her. There is a bizarre contraption emitting a blue light next to her bed. Rose screams through her gag,"Don't look at the light!", but Mystic of course looks and loses consciousness. He awakes confused, stripped to his boxers, and sees his feet are the strange device he commented on earlier. Evil Dr. Libertine walks in and tells the young detective will get to be apart of his new experiment. He had been itching to try out his new equipment on Rose, but she was out of commission at the moment. Mystic pleas to be let go and the evil Dr. ignores him.
