Yeah, well sometimes the truth pisses people off. Had the Yankees not done a screw job on him that led him out the door, then this probably wouldn't happen.
I wasn't going to purchase the book before all this was leaked and I still won't now.
So much of what we are hearing through the different news outlets is nothing new. We all knew that there was resentment against A-Rod and that everyone knew he was jealous of Jeter's relationship with the media and the fans. We all knew that people were calling him A-Fraud because he would play good one day and choke in the big moments. So far I haven't heard much that we didn't already know was going on.
The only thing I've heard that suprised me was the part about Cashman which Torrie denies he said. Since he is just a contributor to the book and not the author I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.
At the end of the day this book doesn't seem to reveal anything that we didn't already know.
Apparently its pissing off the Steinbrenners because apparently they are discussing adding a loophole in the contracts of personnel (Managers, Players, etc) that includes "NO TELL ALLS!" but that is just typical Yankee arrogance if thats true.
