Fallout 4: Stuff of Nightmares

Hi All! I was playing FO4 a couple days ago, and I have the Alt Start mod. I have done them all, so I decided to start as an outlaw.

I believe that I found the creepiest thing in FO4, and it's not the Deathclaws or the Yoi-gri. As an outlaw most of the Raiders didn't try to kill me, I could just walk right up to them.

The issue with this, however, is seeing them up close. Man. Talk about a scary\ugly bunch.

To make make things worse, they don't have any recorded dialogue, so they would just stare at the character.

Maybe scary was the wrong word, but it was definitely creepy. Speaking in terms of the only time I had saw a Raider up close was when they were laying on the ground, dead.

No I get it. You're spending (or at least in my 150 or so hours) a lot of time running and sniping them out in the open. I can see how not having to do that would be odd.

It's a post-atomic Mad Max style wasteland.

Of course it's inhabitants are going to be freaky looking!

I think what got me the most about it was the fact that they would just stare at the character.

Would have been better, if possible, if the modder had at least copy and pasted over the settlers dialogue. Then they would at least say "Hi"
