Fallout, anyone?

Anyone jump back into Fallout after the TV show? I have to admit, I am victim to this myself. Watching the show made me want to play the games again. I've played all of them except New Vegas and 76, so I decided to jump into Fallout New Vegas. Pretty kickass game, though I am surprised the level cap is so low without the DLC. I believe it is 30.

I went back into New Vegas, for the extra dose of Western vibe. It's by far the best RPG I've ever played - I love how it keeps track of so many decisions you make along your path, and then at the end it narrates how your choices affected the world.

I put my 150 hours into the base game of Fallout and haven't been able to will myself to go any further.

I definitely recommend trying the New Vegas DLC !! and to play them in order, as they have some connections with each other. I have played every fallout except 3 and 76 so far, and I only discovered the games last year ! Now i’m a big fan

New Vegas definitely has the best story and DLC.

New Vegas is the best of the most recent Fallout games. It just is, on pretty much every level, except for visuals, being an older game. F3 was an important building block, and a good game in general, while fallout 4...well, somebody decided to focus more on the first person shooter aspects instead of the RPG aspects of the game, which I think most long-term fans objected to. The base building was a good idea, and I love the weapon/armor/food crafting and customization, but IMO they still dropped some pretty big balls when it came to this.

New Vegas is the way to go.

It’s a classic! I’m yet to watch the tv show, got it on my watchlist but was watching a few other things first, but I’ll prolly start it soon, heard some good things about it!

I have 4 installed and ready for a re-visit. But regardless of the mods I use, I can't get New Vegas to fucking run without closing out and crashing.

ETA:

1. Those are the only 2 games that matter: 4 and New Vegas.

2. No matter what mod you suggest me, it won't work, trust. I was only able to grab 70 hours of playtime and am on and off craving more. Especially after watching the show.

Why the fuck Bethesda isn't stepping up only outlines further what a piece of shit company they are.

Same for me for New Vegas. Well, the whole game was running great for me, everything. DLC, side missions, main story, etc. Right up to the final chapters of the main story. On one of the final few missions, my game made it impossible for me to complete the mission. Like the quest was frozen but I could still play. I reloaded the game a bunch of times and reloaded from previous save points, but couldn't get it to work. So I just went to YouTube and watched the ending I wanted.

Probably won't play New Vegas again until they give it a remaster.
