So apparantly while i was in a coma sleeping today at like 2pm, somebody hit the wrong switch and there was one of those Emergency Response things telling everybody who was watching television and listening to the radio to evacuate the state of CT. And I was trying to think of what would actually be a big enough disaster to evacuate an entire state, and the only thing I could come up with is a mad scientist with some kind of death ray. And then I got a little sad, because that never happens. Wouldn't life just be a lot more interesting if like every three years or so, some crazy guy with a cool name and a weird group of henchmen tried to take over the world? But not by just bombing countries or sending in ana rmy. By building a weird secret fortress in the middle of a mountain and then threatening to drop 50 tons of marmalade on the state of Wisconsin if he didn't get 5 trillion dollars. And then some super cool CIA agent would have to secretly infiltrate his boss, and fight his body guard who has a chainsaw for a hand and then defuse the marmalade bomb before time ran out. Stuff like that NEVER happens in real life, and it makes me kind of sad.
