I've been recently thinking about how i used to tickle my one cousin when we were younger and before i knew it as a fetish. As i think back on it i kinda thought to myself if it was weird or not that i got excited when tickling a relative of mine. I didn't do it for sexual release or anything but i knew i went for tickling most of the time because i enjoyed it alot.

Tickling among siblings or cousins is perfectly normal and typical. For most people, it's nothing special to remember. For us, it's very special, but not weird (unless you actually got sexual gratification from it with a sibling or cousin. ).

This is only due to the fact that my family and I are estranged. If that wasn't so, I would probably have enjoyed it, but there was a cold wall between my family and I, put up there by unfortunate circumstances that we both endured, starting a few years into my childhood and on up to now.

There were a few, random people that I didn't really "know" as a child who tried to tickle the daylights out of me. Those were awkward moments in my childhood, but there is a bittersweet love that came out of it that I would not trade for absolutely anything that the world could offer. 🙂

I had older cousins that would tickle me all the time and I liked it and each of my younger cousins incurred the wrath of my tickling fingers. Now today I would never do it because of my fetish. I feel it would be grossly inappropriate. If tickling even comes up in conversation with family I change the subject. I live downstairs from my parents and we share custody of a dog between the 2 appartments. During the day my father takes care of him and I take him at night. When my mother is around she will call the dog over and she tells him "roll over and I'll tickle you" and as she is petting the dog's belly she asks him if he likes being tickled. Just hearing my mother say the word tickle skeaves me out. And here she is just petting the dog. But what can I do? I just make myself scarce. To me it is almost like she is talking dirty and who wants to hear that from their mother, yet this is something that is in my head since I associate tickling as a fetish. All she is doing is showing affection to my dog. Never the less I hate to hear her even say that word, but I just got to deal with it. She is not doing anything wrong and has no idea how much it bothers me and it is not exactly the thing I can explain to her.

I remember returning home from Christmas my freshman year and my younger cousins being upset with me for refusing to play our tickle games as we did for years. As a kid, I used to tickle my cousins sometimes. At that point, I knew was that it was something I liked to do, and that it gave me powerful feelings I didn't really understand. My folks asked me about it once, and I didn't really have an answer for them. I was pretty embarrassed, though. As it became clear that tickling is a sexual thing for me, thinking about those times became more and more creepy to me. I have female cousins too......2 of which are ticklish.......one who was VERY ticklish and about 7 years older. Had she not been a jerk, it woulda been great to keep tickling her growing up. The other I actually told her back when I was like 17 or 18 that I'd like to make tickle vids. She thought I was crazy.......I think she's since forgotten about that moment (thank God). She's now a Holy Roller (aka Darn near in a cult), plus I've learned more about how much I "enjoy" tickling so it'd be super weird now......however, back then, it wasn't that type of enjoyment. Just random family tickling, and definitely not the same type of excitement.........so to answer the question, nope, no weirdness.
