When I was little, some of my aunts and cousins would tickle me...and my dad would tickle my feet when I asked him to...I think my fetish developed due to the many babysitters I had as a child who tickled the living daylights out of me, as I was an oddly serious kid until I hit my teen years, so they all wanted to make me smile/laugh/lose control...my family doesn't tickle me anymore, and I'm ok with that as I would rather they didn't anyway...I have plenty of other opportunities at my fingertips to tickle/be tickled by folks I am not related to, and it's ALL good!!! 😉

I was tickled by my cousins a lot while growing up. I loved it and sometimes even asked for it. I was tickled just about everywhere on my body but mostly my ribs and belly. The worst torture I had ever endured however, was when my older sister tickled me for too long. I'm convinced that the reason some people hate being ticked is because people don't know when to stop and the victim becomes scared and helpless resulting in humiliation and embarrassment. Fortunetly, that wasn't the case for me.

Yes, but isn't it interesting that if you ask many tickle fetishists why they love it, they will attribute it to the same type of intense experience. A very strange phenomenon.

Maybe tickling isn't a fetish, per se. Maybe fetishes at all don't exist.

Sexuality might be much more complex than we - and psychologists - know, and lacking a better term, they made up "fetishism" as a word.

Actually, it is mildly derogatory, outside this and likeminded forums, that's why I don't completely like it. 🙂
