Okay, so here's about the craziest project we've work on at my place of biz.... more proof that I ma in fact a real person.
I work in video production, and we are doing a special on this guy Steve, a former Marine, who gained about 400 lbs., lost his job, his house and his car, so he's decided to talk form California to New York City with no money and minimal help getting there and chronicle his journey - his wife runs his blog. 400lbs? Desert!! Death Valley!!! Kooky, man. But he did get through. An odd and unique adventure in life.
Anyway, our company is videotaping him and will be putting together either a cable documentary or a reality tv mini-series similar to "The Farmer's Wife" on PBS a few years ago. Steve - and our footage - have already been featured on the Today show; you can see the video here:

And this is Steve's website, with his story, photos, etc.:
http://www.thefatmanwalking.com
He's even gotten a little bit of corporate sponsorship (He'll always have walking shoes, for example... he has a book deal, that kind of thing).
My personal thought is, this is a last ditch cry for help from the guy, which will either kill him or turn him into a millionaire, but the video company doesn't pay me to think. In fact, they don't pay me at all - I got laid off yesterday after 8 years with no warning! The Fat Man's walk is taking too long, you see, so we're having to deal with that. So I'm drummin' up interest to make this big. Internet regulars often like odd or unusual stories, well, here's one I'm somewhat a part of - Bang Bang Bang Bang!
Well, off to Classmates.com.....
