By new anime I mean anime that's still ongoing or has just now come out (like the following):

Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Samurai Champloo, Tenjo Tenge, Outlaw Star, Berserk, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Ronin Warriors, Initial D, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Akira, Grappler Baki, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Seven, Yu Yu Hakusho, Fruits Basket, Inuyasha, Attack on Titan, Kanon.....

I could go on, but suffice it to say, Cowboy Bebop holds the top spot for me.
