Favorite Monster

I'm getting into the halloween spirit, and was wondering what some of the most popular monsters are? They don't have to be modern infact most of mine are classics.

Zombie costumes were always fun....it was basically just seeing how disgusting you could make yourself look...hanging eyeballs...rotting flesh...sores, boils, scars...always fun...

Now personally I'm guilty of going as the Grim Reaper on more than one occasion...

Now if we're talking about just favorite movie monsters in general, I always loved the whole "Attack of the Giant...." category like King Kong, Godzilla or really campy works like "Them" and "The Beast from 30,000 Fathoms"...

Pennywise the Clown played by the master thespian Tim Curry. Yeah, he is certainly up there. I always get freaked out when the kids open the history book.

One time for Halloween I went as a mummy, unfortunately my wrapping came off before I made it home. LOL.

My favorite monster has to be The Blob. Great 50's movie with Steve McQueen.

One of these years I'm going to go dressed as the Reaper. Then I plan to join random groups of trick-or-treaters and pick one out of the group to pick on. Every so often, I'll tap that person on the shoulder to get their attention, and then tap the face of a fancy watch I'd be wearing. Never saying a word or making a sound.

But anyways...favorite monsters...hmm...I've always liked vampires and zombies, but I also enjoy the deceptively cute movie monsters like those seen in Critters and Gremlins.

Not really a "monster" in the typical sense of the word, but I'm a big fan of Jiggy from the Saw franchise. : )

I can't believe nobody's brought up "The Tickle Monster" yet...

Anyway, my actual favorite "monster" is the wide world of horror movies has to be The "Zombies" from the 28 days/weeks later movies. Violent, Fast, and brutal.
