I just recalled one time I imagined a ler giving a lee they're in a relationship with a gift in the form of a hair piece with a feather on it, just to symbolise their little pass time they enjoy together.
Out of random curiosity how likely is it this was already a thing and I just didn't realise?
 
Feather hair extensions were a thing for a min about a decade ago
