Hello,

I just posted this thread http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=173620 in the tickling discussion section of the main forum.

I thought some of you native Muscovites could tell me what this is for. I've seen a few of them around, in other kitchens.

Apologies for not posting in Russian, I've only lived here for five months and haven't learned enough of the language.

Cheers,
naughtylucy

I’ve got no idea.
My mom used to collect her parrot’s feathers the bird lost in molting, just as a memory of her pet.
But may be the device you described was for spreading some oil over a pie in the process of cooking – at least it seems I’ve heard something like this.
If you cannot post the image or this enigmatical gadget, you can bring it to our gathering in Moscow – I’m sure we definitely find the true purpose of it :)

And Naughty, Russian-speaking people rarely look up this forum, since we have http://tickler.1bb.ru and http://shekotka.borda.ru for our community, you’d better post your question there for faster response.
