the other two...
Can we, or at least I, get the stories please?
So, you already know about the first one at the Blackhawks rally.
The second one occurred one afternoon when I had to be at O’Hare airport. I had some time to kill, so I went to the “cell phone lot,” which is where people wait in their cars to pick up people arriving on flights. I figured that this place would have some potential on a hot afternoon.
My instincts were correct. After a little bit of waiting, I spotted a SUV in a back corner of the lot. Looked like a mother and daughter (in her 20’s) waiting in the vehicle. The mother was driving and the daughter was in the passenger seat. The daughter was wearing a t-shirt and shorts, and she had her bare feet out the window, crossed at the ankles, resting on the side-view mirror. I took a few photos w/my phone and a couple of them are posted.
As you can see, to the left of the car is a garbage can. I grabbed the small car trash bin I keep in my car, and walked over to empty it. As I walked to the garbage can past the SUV, she did not move her feet away. I emptied the trash bin and walked back. As I passed the SUV, I reached over and tickled her foot and toes. I got a nice, surprised laugh out of her. I walked back to my car and had to leave a few minutes later.
The second one occurred in the Loop in downtown Chicago. There was a section of streets that were under construction and several lanes of traffic narrowed down to a one lane bottleneck. I figured this situation had foot-out-the-window potential, so, at lunchtime, I went over there. Long story short, nothing happened.
BUT, as I walked back to my office a big bare foot sticking out of a car window in traffic on the street caught my eye. I looked in the car and was disappointed that the foot belonged to a guy. HOWEVER, in the car right behind that car, was another bare foot out the window. This time, it belonged to a woman! And, another woman was driving. The light at the intersection turned green and the traffic they were in started to move. I literally started running down the street after them. (I know, perfect way not to create a scene in downtown Chicago at lunchtime). The traffic light on the next block was red, and I actually caught up to the car. I kept running, but slowed down, and, as I passed the car, I gave that bare foot a good tickle. I kept running and turned at the next block.
