Hey,

Just wanted to find out who else on here play instruments?? Im a guitarist myself and have been for 7/8 years now. Would be good to chat to people who share this interest as well as the obvious one.
Please make yourselves known lol.

Oh yeah and has anyone heard of this ridiculously talented acoustic guitarist called andy mckee?????

Been playing guitar since I was about 12 years old (That'll be nearly 11 years, ack!)

I can play trumpet and piano. I played in a modern electronic jazz quartet. I wish I'd never started studying so I'd had more time to play.
 
Saxophone, 18 years

I play every other band instrument (trumpet, etc) as well as a seventh or eighth grader.
 
I've been playing guitar for nearly 15 years, and I can fill in on bass or drums in a pinch 🙂

Yes! Andy McKee is insane! I've seen some of his stuff on youtube and wow, just wow! Blew me away!
 
I've been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and I've dabbled in a few other instruments in my 32 years on here on this planet (flute, clarinet and violin but didn't really stick it out with those ones). I did buy an acoustic guitar not that long ago and trying to teach myself how to play although I think I'm going to give in and just get proper lessons.

I have played the violin since age 6 (and I'm nineteen now), so I consider myself quite a good violinist 😀 I was taught the Suzuki method from a young age, and I've always have a passion for music.

In addition to the violin, I've also played the cello for 9 years, the sax for 4 years, and tinkered with various other instruments including the piano, the oboe, and drums off and on for years 😀

I would go on, but it starts to seem a bit too much like bragging 😛 I do play violin in my college's orchestra, but I won't say how good I am hint - 1st chair 😛
 
i've been singing my whole life, although i didn't start taking lessons till i was 14 (you have to wait a while for the voice to yada yada i'm boring you already). i quit after i graduated high school, took a year off, and just started my freshman year as a vocal performance major. 🙂

also, i played the flute for 3 years in middle school; hated it.

Piano: Never had lessons, but I taught myself to play The Beatle's Let It Be, Vanessa Carlton's 1000 Miles, and Dracula's Lament from Forgetting Sarah Marshall because I wanted to.
