Have you tried downloading the clip and playing it locally? That often solves the issue.

Hey, what do you mean by playing it locally? I dont really get it... I, too, am having trouble getting this thing to work! It would really help to know because so many of these files are .rm files. grrr
By the way, why is it that I'm not allowed to view certain files? sometimes i try to access certain things on the TMF, then the computer asks me to put in my username and password, then rejects me when i do... whats up with that?

playing it locally means downloading it onto your computer before trying to play it. Instead of left-clicking on the file, right-click on it and use "save as" to download it.

Your username and password should work everywhere on the TMF. Where specifically are you getting that error?
