Linda recently moved to California but she used to live only a couple of miles away from me. I took walks in her neighborhood hoping I'd see her but that never came to pass. I've met one of her brothers and a cousin, though.

And for those of you who don't know who Sandie Shaw is, allow me to enlighten you. She was more popular in England than in the States, but she did the original version of the song, "Always Something There To Remind Me" that Naked Eyes made famous in 1983. Now here's Sandie Shaw...

Another female rockabilly singer from the 50s, Janis Martin ("the female Elvis") said she was regarded a rebel cause she used to perform barefoot. This was from a PBS special a couple years back. Shame there were no pictures, she was really smokin' hot.

from the world of professional wrestling--two early devas

the late Ms Elizabeth and Sunny in the old WCW both would often shed their high heels. Both were classy ladies who wore VERY attractive dresses and heels and both would frequently kick off their heels when they were menaced and the script required them to run around lots. Several times both walked from the ring to the back in bare stocking feet. In one skit with Liz "knocked out" she laid on a table with her heels off and nyloned soles and red toenail polish VERY visible for quite a period of time. Sunny toward the end of her WCW stint came to and from the ring with her heels off! Two VERY attracitve ladies who performed in barefeet!
