That is definetly a good artwork of Priere from La Pucelle: Tactics. But not her form in Disgeae: Hour of Darkness. Very welld rawn and colored even in bad quality. I apreciate a drawing of a rarelyd rawn character here.
Always good to see old school gammers around.
Thank you.
🙂
Good eye to know the character.
Yeah, since Disgaea is the sequel to La Pucelle (or they at least happen in a specific order) Prier makes a cameo in Disgaea. Though her name is changed from Prier (french verb for "to pray"), to Priere (" prayer").
Interesting enough, the secret ending to La Pucelle and the continuity from La Pucelle to Disgaea are in conflict, since there are three different endings- the game ending, the dark world ending, and then the continuity of the dark world ending into Disgaea.
I suppose that, since she's in Disgaea as a demon overlord, then the dark world ending is meant to be the actual path, and the "good ending" is an alternate one.
I'm looking forward to drawing her in her overlord form. ^^
I really can't call myself an old-school RPG gamer, since back in the day there weren't that many actually. It wasn't until Sega CD and such units came out that there was a higher capacity for more RPG games, especially ones that contained animated anime cinema sequences (the Lunar series is a good example of this).
