First FIVE Pages of BOUND BY DUTY #02 (Black and White) + GABRIELLA Art!

Following the events of Issue 01, Issue 02 picks back up with Lady Bow's struggle against Marauding Ogres, and then turns it's attention to the fate of Ki'Alla, who's whereabouts were left unmentioned after the opening of Issue 01 (For sake of more pages with Tickling)!

Ki'alla, like the others, awakens alone in the Ancient's Pass... except set upon by Bandits! Under the command of the Sorcerer Morlack, the Conswalli Twins (Kenneth and Fayth Conswalli) and their gang are tasked with the immediate capture of Ki'alla and her friends. Fortunately for the cast, Morlack's mis-casting of a teleportation spell sent them all scattered throughout the Ancient's Pass, Unfortunately for Ki'alla, the Conswalli twins aren't convinced that Morlack's spell suffered any flaw.

What follows is a devious attempt by the Conswallis to discover the locations of Ki'alla's missing comrades... by most familiar means. If only Half-Elves like Ki'alla weren't known for being considered the most ticklish Species in all the known realms.

Note: I have not added thicker lines (For DEPTH) in the first few pages yet - I'll do so when I return to them for coloring. 8)

Thank you! I'll make a few tweaks to improve some expressions before release/add more detail. I always try to deliver my best work, especially if it's for sale! I love all my crazy Princesses. I'm a big fan of the Archon too, and you'll see why... eventually. xD

So now...the realsies:

All five pages are mint (yes, I watched Super 8 again last night and adore that flick).

The banter on the first couple pages sets up the story magnificently. And your style does amazing things with the twists and contortions of ticklish response, as well as just looking god damn good on normal characters (not in the writhing throes of hysterical agony). All in all the whole thing comes across as professional, hot and just a lot of fun to look at. And in my book that's really an important combination. Some art out there is just flat. Maybe it has the technical skill, but not the hotness. Or the reverse - brimming with smexy, but lacking so much form and order that it loses punch. Yours has a delightful combo, imho.

And I hope to see much more of it.

And I have to say as well, that lithe trim Elven Archon from issue 1 is too ridiculously adorable. I'd really love to see more of her tight body being tickled.

I'll keep doing my best to improve, and since I'm told I'm actually quite terrible at taking compliments (Instead being like, "But I suck at this...") I'll just shut up and take it: THANK YOU! XD I kinda miss my sketchy style, but apparently clean lines are more popular. Still, they also tend to be more difficult for me, so I'm taking it up as a challenge to myself, rather than another obstacle.

I'm gonna try combining them in the next few pages... even though it's a terrible time to experiment... OH WELL! 8D

I think the thing about the clean lines is that they help put the focus of the image where it needs to be, and they don't distract. I also think there's an element of "finish" or "professionalism" to the tightened lines. Your style is so strong that I don't think you need the tighter lines, but I think that having them makes your stuff even more graphic and illustrative. It gets a sort of Adam Hughes vibe - who I think is absolutely outstanding. One of the best cover artists ever.

And the improvement is a pretty awesome thing. A lot of artists get their style down and honestly stop trying to improve. Which I totally understand. But I think those artists we admire the most are often the ones that kept challenging their own boundaries with every image until...they just became legendary one pencil swipe at a time.

You rock now, and can't wait to see where the rockage takes you in the future.
