but long live flip flops, although i had a pair from walmart one time that actually had an arch curve in them which was heaven. Sadly i wore them till they denigrated and haven't found a inexpensive pair similar since
 
Ya know, its a similar thing with Chuck-T's: I use to wear em all the time before I switched to a shoe with actual arch support, and now its no turning back.

Substance over style, for moi.

LOL!!! I wore Jellies when i was little 😛. On the topic of the post, Rainbows feel pretty good. I have a pair I rarely wear, but when I do on those 100 degree days, they aren't too uncomfortable.

OMG, you didn't mention jellies?? those were the shoes that after you been in them all day, your feet would growl like a tiger because that's what they looked like...because your feet would be dirty everywhere except where the plastic was

Actually I started wearing them a couple years ago and I have no trouble or pain at all. They have the arch curve that Rupert had mentioned. And they're a lot more comfortable to wear in the summer than my crocs.

Aw, I had an image of a big ratty sweatshirt 🙂 the traditional sweatshirt-kind-of-thing. But i'm not against nice looking sweatshirts at all 😀
 
They actually cause more foot-health problems in younger women than high heels since some of them wear 'em constantly (they are tottaly unprotective other than the sole, there is no support, or padding.) Steer clear!
