Flirting?

OK, so this stupid thought has been bugging me for awhile. 9th grade of something, during band, I was sitting by this guy who was bugging me. So I went down a few chairs to sit in the absent kid's chair by this girl I had had a huge crush on for 2 years. As far as I knew, she didn't have a crush on me and was just a good friend. So while the teacher was busy working with the double reed section on a part, she reached over and squeezed me leg two times and asked me if I was ticklish. I was of course, but the way she tickled then it didn't tickle. The teacher was talking to the class again and I gave a fake smile and said "no" in a way that meant "stop bugging me and leave me alone." She did this again another class but i basically responded the same way.

Anyone think was she flirting with me? I thought she was but I didn't think she had any interests AT ALL in going out with me. I said and did stupid things around her all the time. The way I responded to her when she did this was the stupidest thing I've done.

ok, thx. i know it sounds simple here, but if you knew the girl and me you wouldn't think she had ANY interests in me.

In 9th grade i don't think i would have ever touched the leg of a boy unless i really liked him...

Well, there is a good possibilty that she did indeed like you, and was flirting with you, but there is also the possibility that she was doing it out of friendship. You said that you two were great friends, so it's a good chance she was just kidding around with you as a friend.
