"If it's not recorded or documented then it doesn't even seem worthwhile," she said. "For today's generation it might seem, `What's the point of doing it if everyone isn't going to see it?'"

Never take a suicide threat lightly...

Unfortunately I'm not sure the little creeps who egged him on can be tracked, or if they can, they may not be able to be tried as accessories

though if that's correct, I'd hope we'd be able to change or add laws ASAP making this sort of (verbal abuse) illegal

& advertise that on those sites, clearly stating that anyone whose activity is documented as promoting harm to any person/animal
will be tracked, and they will be prosecuted, facing serious jail time.

If those @$$wipes hadn't egged him on, drowning out those who tried to stop him, maybe there would've been a different outcome ----

At least someone DID notify authorities, to trace him, but it was obviously too late.

I was taught as a teen never to take a threat of suicide lightly,
--- or more than one statement, doesn't matter how many are made...
I'm very sorry so many had to learn with this young man's example.

Hope the next kid thinking about this sees that this poor kid's face and name will not be news more than a few days,
nowhere near the permanent miserable loss to his family.

Kinda reminiscent of hearing about people at the bottom of a building chanting jump to a suicidal person. Consequently it seems murder/suicides are on the rise as well. Coincidence?
