I just wrote a long ass story in the True Story thread and I guess it took so long to write, I had to log back in and it couldn't be posted. When I went back to the previous page, it didn't restore it so I could try again. Ef my life. 🙁







I'll post it again later tomorrow when I recollect my thoughts. Sorry for my sudden outburst. I'll laugh about this later.

I hate that with a passion. At least there is a pretty long time before auto log. One of the other forums I frequent, it is like 10 mins and it taught me quickly to copy and save the entire post before clicking "preview". Another thing for future reference is just preview your post every 10-15 mins if you are typing a long post, as that should reset the auto log timer.

That happened to me once (with a fiction story). After that, for a post of any length above one page, I just compose it in Notepad and post it using "select all" in Notepad and "Copy" in the posting window. 😀

You should always save a copy of that in MS Word or something. You get an hour to refresh before it times you out here.
