So how do you find people?

Sessiongirls or X formerly Twitter are how I find talent in 90% of cases.

If they have a fetish/porn profile and verifiable website (OnlyFans, LoyalFans, Fansly, etc.) and or worked with other fetish producers, I usually reach out through their preferred method of contact.

In the message I share who I am (stage name), link to my store, a rundown of what I shoot and so forth.

From there, they either accept it or decline (including by not responding). I may follow-up after a week or so if I really want to book said model, but after two attempts spaced out. I move on.

I have went through a few agencies, but prefer direct communication.

What I will not do is go through a go between that isn’t an agency. Not booking through someone’s BF, husband, or handler.

Some models do have booking managers and that’s fine. In those cases I know them quite well so I know it’s on the up and up.

Unsolicited advice for those who reach out to talent, respect the “no”. Getting butt hurt and taking it out on the model is beyond idiotic.

Thank you for the insight! I agree with you on the second point. Unfortunately a lot of producers seem to think the model’s enjoyment is “enough” of a payment that they don’t need to compensate them financially. And of course I also know a couple guys who straight up exploit their models and give them nothing in return, but I’ve personally stayed far away from those guys.

The “producers” who think they should not compensate talent because the talent might have the kink poison the well of potential models.

If the producer had no intention of sharing the content shot with the model, thinking the model should do it for free is even worse in my book.

Now if they say they will pay, and then don’t pay as agreed, that’s blacklist worthy and criminal in my eyes.

Would you say that foot fetish content sells better than tickling content?

Also, which communities do you use to advertise your clips or post previews? (Besides c4s and tmf). Do you pay for ads?

I once paid for ads on the TMF for 3 months. I did it more as a show of support for the forum since I’ve been a member and before that a lurker for some time.

Otherwise I just upload on C4S. I’m not entirely sure how much of my customer base comes from here.

C4S has great market traffic program and if it wasn’t for them, I probably would have closed up shop years ago. I also upload to LoyalFans and to a lesser extent, ManyVids.

I do post often on X, previews and such so that’s the best place to go to see what I’ve been putting out.

Porn/fetish are hard to market compared to traditional businesses because the system actively works against what we do.

I don't hit up random women per se, but my husband and I are very active in our local BDSM/Kink scene(We even hosts our own play parties.), so if we see someone that we think would maybe sell well, we will chat them up and see if they are interested. If it's a hard pass or no then we respect their wishes and move on.

Unrelated, but feel free to call bullshit on any of my takes. Definitely appreciate your perspective.

Most of them just straight blocked me. A bunch of them told me things like "I'm not a *****" or "why would you even ask me to do things like that?".
Very few of them told me they weren't interested.
Out of the two girls that accepted at first, there was a third one that was cool with it but asked for references, which I did not have at the time.

On this point, it helps to “read the room”. I’m not sure exactly who you’ve reached out too, but if you don’t see a “spicy site” link anywhere on their profile, I definitely wouldn’t hit them up about shooting content.

Some producers I know will ask everyone that fits their aesthetic because the worst they can say is “no”. I see no problem asking other adults because there are some “yeses” in there. Respect the “nos” and leave it at that.

I stick to folks in the industry though. What you run into 10 times over with newbies is the eventual take down request. Even less reliable and tend or problems on set.

For those that forge ahead in booking newbies, DO NOT use their legal name in any part of the stage name.

For those that don’t know “stage name” is what the model is referred to in the content.
