Well it is now week #12 in the NFL. Last week there were some great games played. Some exciting finishes and some unusual things going on. I refer to the Steelers/Chargers game as well as the Eagles/Bengals game. Maybe this week the players and the officials will have a better idea on how to play the game and call the game as well as knowing that a game CAN , in fact , finish in a tie. A strange week that week 11. Lovethemaster I thank you for once again posting last week's spreads. I do appreicate it. Now we look to week #12 in the league where they play...for pay

Cincinnati Bengals +10 1/2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 8:15pm --- For fantasy purposes, GO T.J. Houshmanzadeh. Could careless about any other Bengals. This isn't just a game, this is a joke. This game if played on Sunday could easily have been hidden with the Sunday Ticket this way NOBODY has to endure watching the Bengals.

Sunday, November 23rd,2008

Houston Texans +3 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm --- The Texans have struggled on the road. I see this being no different. I need Jamal Lewis to do well. Also need Owen Daniels and Sage Rosenfels to do well, other than that, Browns should pick up their fifth win of the year. Before I leave this game though, think about this: Had the Browns defense not had a meltdown against the Ravens and the Broncos in back to back weeks, they could be in a serious hunt for a Wild Card playoff spot. IF...

Buffalo Bills -3 @ Kansas City Chiefs 1:00pm --- This is a game the Bills will probably win. Seems like an eterity since they were 5-1. Now they fight to stay at or over the .500 mark. But since Kansas City plays well at home and has played well recently, I will give the Chiefs a fighting chance in this game. Maybe the Bills will win the game by a point with a 47 yard FG that doesn't go wide right.

New York Jets +5 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm --- This is a game that should be in primetime. We will learn a lot about these two teams by the time this game is over. I give the Jets a shot at winning this game. I think we will see a close game that will be decided by a FG or less. I will take those five points.

New England Patriots +2 @ Miami Dolphins 1:00pm --- Miami beat the Pats back in September. Winning breeds confidence. Chad and the Dolphins are probably very confident. They run the ball well. Pennington on occasion will let a deep ball fly, that is where Ted Ginn steps in. Also Ginn steps in on Special Teams. This could be a HUGE game for Ginn and the Dolphins because a win here affects tiebreakers for the playoffs.

San Francisco 49ers +10 1/2 @ Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm --- I actually think the Cowboys will win this game. So Cowboy fans don't get your panties in a bunch. The Cowboys are trying to figure out how to jumpstart this offense. Having Romo back is a GREAT start. But it is the Cowboys defense that scares me. Since I have them in two of my Fantasy leagues, I am always hoping they do well. They have not. They have to go back to the drawing board and figure out the fundamentals of tackling. They will have that CRIMINAL Adam Jones ( should be in jail ) back as he has been reinstated. I guess the NFL and Roger Goodall hasn't been made to look stupid enough already. They want him to give the league still another blackeye. I believe that Shawn Hill has done well for the 49ers offense and they are moving the ball well, especially between the 20's. In the end, Dallas's defense will make this game closer than it should be.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -8 1/2 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm --- I have said this three times this season, I will say it again, I think Detroit will upset week and win this game. They have covered spreads in five of the last six games. I don't see this game being any different, especially with Graham now out for the year. Warrick Dunn will be the feature back here. The Bucs will need to run the ball like Carolina did a week ago to give their team a chance here. For whatever the reason, the Lions have been snakebitten. You don't believe it??? Look at some of the calls that have gone against them in the fourth quarters of these close games. Some of these calls are almost comical. If nothing else, with this game, you should take the points.

Philadelphia Eagles +1 1/2 @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00pm --- Right now, I can't take an Eagles team that plays the Bengals to a tie. Sorry about that. The Bengals, like the Lions and the Chiefs and the Rams and the Raiders are very beatable. You should win those games. You can't have a tie. The Ravens found out how good the Giants run attack is and will play better this week.

Chicago Bears -8 @ St.Louis Rams 1:00pm --- After taking one on the chin against the Packers at home the Bears probably welcome the trip to the road. The Rams will probably lose this game. But the spread of 8 points is too high for a team that just got throttled and is playing against a Rams team that plays relatively well at home.

Minnesota Vikings +2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00pm --- I think Jacksonville will win this one at home against a Vikings team that doe not travel well away from the dome. The key to success for both teams is Adrian Peterson. If AP runs well for the Vikings then they can win this game. If the Jaguars stop AP then the game shifts to Jacksonville. Should be an entertaining game though.

Oakland Raiders +9 1/2 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm --- Oakland stinks. Right now, I could get almost anybody to beat this team. I'll bet the Lions wished that the Raiders were on their schedule. This is a hideous team. Cutler should have a field day at the Raiders expense.

Carolina Panthers +1 1/2 @ Atlanta Falcons 4:15pm --- Matt Ryan I believe will be able to move the ball against the Panthers. Heck the Lions did last week. Look for the Falcons to THROW the ball to set up their running game. It is a bit unconventional and backwards but I believe that is probably the best way to attack this Panthers defense. If successful, the Falcons could win their seventh game of the season. The key to the Panthers is DeAngelo Williams and Jonathon Stewart. They MUST have big games. Don't know what is wrong with Delhomme, but don't put the game in his hands right now.

Washington Redskins -3 1/2 @ Seattle Seahawks 4:15pm --- The Seahawks hope that this will be another stepping stone for Hasselback. The Seahawks will probably NOT win but they should play better than they did a week ago. The Redskins still hold some cards as far as playoff possiblities and really need to go in an win this game.

New York Giants -3 1/2 @ Arizona Cardinals 4:15pm --- The Giants have had some HUGE games over the last several weeks. I think they are due for a letdown game somewhere. This could be the game. The Cardinals with their dynamic offense will give the Giants some problems. But the Giants defense should be a fun challenge for the Cardinals. Besides, I look at this and think would Kurt Warner love to show the NFL and the Giants that he is worthy of the MVP talk??? Fumbles could be a problem here for Warner because the Giants will come after him with everything. This was also worthy of a primetime game. This game will be fun to watch.

Indianapolis Colts +2 1/2 @ San Diego Chargers 8:15pm --- I will look at this game and say, there will be a lot of scoring. This has 31-27 written all over it. Since the Colts are now showing signs of life, I expect them to win this game outright.

Monday, November 24th,2008

Green Bay Packers +2 1/2 @ New Orleans Saints 8:35pm --- another fun game to watch. This too will be a high scoring affair. This game could come down to who has the ball last. Look for the Saints to move to 6-5 and jump back into the playoff hunt.

Those are the games and the picks. Have a great weekend everyone and good luck and enjoy the games. :smilestar

Thursday, November 20th,2008

Cincinnati Bengals +10 1/2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 8:15pm I hesitated about the point spread for about ten seconds...but yeah....

Sunday, November 23rd,2008

Houston Texans +3 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm Cleveland's playing better right now, pumped by the win over Buffalo and finding thier rhythm with Brady Quinn

Buffalo Bills -3 @ Kansas City Chiefs 1:00pm Buffalo avenges the last-second loss to Cleveland and uses thier running game to take it out on KC.

New York Jets +5 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm This is the one that pops the champainge bottle for Mercury Morris. Titans exposed as very good but beatable...Jets prove they ARE the best team in the AFC East.

New England Patriots +2 @ Miami Dolphins 1:00pm Pats had a good run while it lasted, Dolphins at home trick-up the old man's defense.

San Francisco 49ers +10 1/2 @ Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm Dallas may very well win this game...but not by that much. Romo or not, this team is struggling. With SF giving some of the better teams a game, and Dallas barely squeaking by a struggling 'Skins team...I don't get this point spread.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -8 1/2 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm I do get this one.

Philadelphia Eagles +1 1/2 @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00pm Baltimore's D may have been exposed against the Giants...but not against the Eagles.

Chicago Bears -8 @ St.Louis Rams 1:00pm So much for Slacker's Wild Card prediction. 😉 Still dig ya, though bro. :triangle:

Minnesota Vikings +2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00pm AP will have a good day today. Jags' pass-D just bad enough to allow Gus to "manage the game".

Oakland Raiders +9 1/2 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm This spread could be 29 1/2.

Carolina Panthers +1 1/2 @ Atlanta Falcons 4:15pm Falcons at home bounce back and take one more step towards taking the NFC South.

Washington Redskins -3 1/2 @ Seattle Seahawks 4:15pm Just a gut feeling on this one. Just a gut feeling...

New York Giants -3 1/2 @ Arizona Cardinals 4:15pm Another gut feeling...Cards will give G-Men a game here. But, Eli and Co. pull it out of the fire.

Indianapolis Colts +2 1/2 @ San Diego Chargers 8:15pm Indy's "back", but barely. SD due for a win and at home. LT pulls out a good game against a less-than-stellar rush-D.

Monday, November 24th,2008

Green Bay Packers +2 1/2 @ New Orleans Saints 8:35pm Green Bay may be the best team in the NFC North. But, if Penn State were in that division, they'd be the top team, so.....records or not, Drew Brees torches Packer's secondary all day.

Houston Texans +3 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm

Buffalo Bills -3 @ Kansas City Chiefs 1:00pm - I refuse to believe that Trent will struggle against KC. However, I do have him benched on my fantasy team & will start Tyler Thigpen.

New York Jets +5 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm - I think this is the week the last "1" gets on the board.

New England Patriots +2 @ Miami Dolphins 1:00pm - Just because New England has to fail at some season, don't they?

San Francisco 49ers +10 1/2 @ Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm - Only because I'm not sold on Tony Romo.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -8 1/2 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm - I don't believe in Detroit, especially not with speedster Joey Galloway back.

Philadelphia Eagles +1 1/2 @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00pm - Mr. Flacco, you now get the Eagles' blitzing scheme.

Chicago Bears -8 @ St.Louis Rams 1:00pm - St. Louis is awful.

Minnesota Vikings +2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00pm - Sense of desperation, but here's a warning: The Jags may only be mathematically alive if they lose.

Oakland Raiders +9 1/2 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm - All Denver has to do is score 23 points. Can't be too hard, can it?

Carolina Panthers +1 1/2 @ Atlanta Falcons 4:15pm - Jake doesn't stink three weeks in a row.

Washington Redskins -3 1/2 @ Seattle Seahawks 4:15pm

New York Giants -3 1/2 @ Arizona Cardinals 4:15pm - If you're gonna lose an NFC game, make it this one.

Indianapolis Colts +2 1/2 @ San Diego Chargers 8:15pm - The Peyton Manning comebacks continue to mount.
