Lazzy and I have been following that ourselves, and are both utterly appalled at some of the wrestlers being released. Yeah, lets get rid of talented, hard working crowd favorites like Matt Hardy and Spike Dudley, but lets keep sloppy, dangerous morons like Chris Masters who nobody gives two craps about just because he's big and McMahon has a woody for big guys. While I agree that some of the cuts were not called for, I'm wondering something. With the great success of the ECW show, is it possible that some of those cut....ie the Dudleys...will end up being in a renewed ECW program? Just a hopeful thought.

AFA Vince and the big guys... Their size and amount of muscle doesn't mean they can wrestle...or speak well....or have a personality....or...... He needs to keep that in mind.

Wrestling today isnt even about the sport anymore. Its getting very commercial. Its about selling the magazines, video games, toys, etc. Raw has manly 3 or 4 matches then the rest is cheap pops from the divas.

I borrowed the most recent cd from The Hives, from the local library today. On this disc is the entrance music for Christie Hemme, the song is called "Walk, Idiot, Walk".

Even better are the words: "See the idiot walk, see the idiot talk". Bless her wacky, red-headed heart. 🙄

I hear ya, Mimi. Of course, what this does do is open up a huge opportunity for an upstart fed to bring in some serious talent right away. Whether it's NWA-TNA, or someone else, perhaps there can finally be some legitimate competition for WWE.

"Walk Idiot Walk" was the theme song for last year's Diva Search as well. How appropriate.

At least they cut one big useless guy -- Mark Jindrak. Leaves me hoping that perhaps Tyson Tomko, Viscera, and Chris Masters will get sent home eventually.

With all the cuts, I'm most disappointed to see them let Charlie Haas go, especially with the great job his former partner Shelton Benjamin has been doing on Raw. I'm surprised to see the Dudleys fired as well -- if only because now MNM have no one to feud with.

Which makes me wish that instead of firing some of these marginal guys, they'd partnered them together and built up the tag ranks a bit more. I thought Maven and Simon Dean worked well as a tag team, even though singly they're both dull. Haas and Hardcore Holly had some good matches with MNM, too.

I agree , Shem......some of the cuts were completely justified. Mark Jindrak, Billy Kidman, and even Matt Morgan just weren't getting the job done.(Matt's old Bubba Ray stuttering bit was getting old quick). And I do agree that Charlie Hass and even Maven were making some inroads and should've been kept on the payroll. More than say Simon Dean and especially Carlito, who in my opinion, is worthless. As is Chris Masters, I want to see (when) Brock Lesner come back and break his lame-brain "masterlock challenge".

I thought the Worlds strongest man "mark henry" was going to break the master lock challange. Chris masters looks like a default character from the smackdown video games. If you cant write a story line for him, then stick him on velocity.

The return of Broc lesnar: well ok so football didnt exactly work out for him, so now he makes his great return to the squared circle. Finally, i love this guy. Hes a great mix of raw power and speed.

Wrestling in my opinion is starting to pick up a bit. They just need to do something with the light weights on smackdown.
