nWo coming to WWF, huh? I'm gonna have to agree with some of these people who say it's going to be just for storyline. First, it'll probably break through like some earth-shattering event, and then it'll gradually settle into normality like most of Vince MacMahon's great ideas, or fade off into a new direction, maybe keeping the big 3 around without the nWo label, when the novelty melts away. Vince MacMahon knows what he's doing. As far as Hogan, Hall, and Nash being too old?
What?
What?
What?
What?
Hell no! So what if they're in their forties? Austin himself is pushing forty, and has been around for many years. Geez, I can remember Stunning Steve Austin in Global Wrestling Federation (GWF. Boy, those were the good old days.), with the likes of the Patriot, and the Lightning Kid (more recently known as X-Pac). How old they are doesn't really matter, as long as they can perform and entertain. If they can take bumps without injuring themselves, and manipulate the crowds, I don't see the problem. C'mon. Ric Flair is how old? I still find him to be one of the most entertaining personas in there. Who couldn't love a drunken, senile crazy in action? Shoot, bring 'em all back!
I could think of all sorts of older wrestlers I'd like to see brought back into action. Here's a few of them:
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Randy Savage
Meng
Shawn Michaels (was in WWF New York, recently, but I still want to see him perform)
Bret Hart
the Great Muta
the Bushwhackers (I think they wrestle in an independent organization, now.)
Also, they're not necessarily old, but I'd be more than happy to see all the luchadores brought back into action. WWF has always seemed rather limited when it came to high-flying, light-weight underdogs. Then again, it seems more and more people can perform moonsaults, hurricanranas, and sentons nowadays...
